Cancer is a disease that is a major public health problem here in Thailand. According to the Ministry of Public Health of Thailand, cancer is the number one cause of death in the country. It has also been found that there are an average of 336 new cases per day or an average of 122,757 people per year, with 215 deaths per day or 78,540 annually.
The most common types of cancer in Thai men are lung cancer, prostate cancer, colorectal cancer, liver and bile duct cancer and lymphoma. While in women, the most common types cancer are breast cancer, cervical cancer, colon, lung and liver cancer.
The reason that cancer is found to be the deadliest disease is because most of the times, cancer does not show any abnormality or symptoms xczbxzcbnmmmmvbbuntil it’s too late. Patients only notice when symptoms such as anorexia, weight loss or fatigue sets in and by that time, the cancer would already have spread. That is why cancer is also known as the “silent killer” and in addition as a result, mortality rate is high.
Cancer is a disease caused by cell modification in the body and impaired cellular metabolism. Due to the fact that the body has stimulating factors that cause the cells to function normally. Some of the contributing factors are toxins, chemicals, free radicals, environment, lifestyle and more.
These factors stimulate and disrupts the cellular energy reactor called "Mitochondria" and in turn makes the metabolism impaired. Cells cannot produce energy well. It also undergoes transformation, mutation and expansion. This causes abnormal cells, causing the "cancer genetic gene switch" to turn on and eventually the first tumor or cancer cell in the body develops.
Cancer is actually a deficiency of the cellular metabolism as well as the deterioration of the immune system.
Integrative Cancer Treatment (Regenerative Medicine)
Knowing the origin of the cancer cells is an important element of the cancer treatment. Therefore, surgery, chemotherapy or radiotherapy alone may not be enough as the root cause of the disease needs to be probed and discovered.
According to the Integrative Medicine approach, treatment is divided into 3 main stages, which at the same time depends on the patient’s condition.
- Apart from the conventional treatment, Cancer cells can also be effectively destroyed with the following treatment protocols:
- High concentrations of vitamin C
- Vitamin B17 or (Amygdalin)
- Insulin Potentiation Therapy (IPT), which uses the principles of cancer cells absorb sugar as a source of “food”. This therapy tricks the cancer cell to “open its doors” in order to administer low dose chemotherapy medications directly into the cells without damaging normal cells
- Light therapy to stimulate cancer cell atrophy
However, such treatment may not be sufficient as cancer cells mutate all the time making them drug resistance. Therefore, additional treatments in parallel is necessary.
- Immunotherapy is another form of integrative medicine protocol that has had many proven successes. Cancer patient's immune system is weak. Thus, strengthening the immune system is necessary. Techniques to stimulate the white blood cells to improve immunity as follows:
- Nutrition management
- Ozone stimulation
- Cytokine therapy
- Natural Killer (NK) Cell Therapy
- Killer Cell Therapy Immunization (use of biological molecules to stimulate the activity of immune system cells)
- For cancer prevention, reducing risk at the root cause is essential. This can be done by the following:
- Rebalancing the body
- Avoiding staying up late
- Relieve stress
- Regularly exercise to strengthen the immune system
- Eat a healthy diet and avoid high-risk foods, such as grilled, processed foods, high-sugar foods, fried foods, which are foods with free radicals
Today, the environment we live in increases our risk of cancer. It is so difficult to avoid carcinogenic factors like toxins, environmental pollution and stresses as they are everywhere. In addition, genetic hereditary factors also increase the risk exponentially. Therefore, taking preventive measures are extremely important in preventing the occurrence of abnormalities in the body. Another key factor is early detection. The sooner one knows, the sooner necessary interventions can be done. Cancer is not a death sentence!
